Thank you for your interest in The Oak Tree Early Learning Academy.  It is my pleasure to serve as the Director.   My passion is School Readiness which is a measure of how prepared a child is to succeed in school, cognitively, socially and emotionally.  I am excited about the opportunity to work with your child(ren).   Over the last 30 years I have served as Teacher, Dean of Students, and School Principal with the Alachua County School District.  I currently have my Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), Director’s Credential , and a Specialist Degree.  And I am a practicing Christian.

The Oak Tree has a staff of creative and knowledgeable individuals from diverse backgrounds who are phenomenal! Our teachers have considerable experience in child care and they all possess their Child Care Certification.

Our school also offers dynamic cultural arts programming throughout the year, including daily music and sign language. In addition, we arrange visits to area children’s theaters and museums as part of extra-curricular activities. 

​

Parents are always welcome to visit the center as we are partners in caring for their children. We invite you to share ideas, give feedback and get involved through volunteerism and participation in school events. 

It is my sincere hope that your experience at The Oak Tree will be as rewarding to you and your family as it has been for countless other families.
